Eligibility and Bookings
To be eligible for Employee Housing, you must be an active Vail Resorts employee and submit an Employee Housing application. If approved, you will need to receive and accept a Housing offer. The offer will indicate your check-in date for Housing. Employee Housing is not guaranteed and we do not do walk up reservations/bookings.

Rancher House is House style housing located in Lewisberry PA. The following are some key highlights for the property:

Parking: Parking is available for all residents at Rancher House. There is no cost/fee associated with parking.

Mail & Packages: Mail and packages will be delivered to the resort's main admin office where residents can pick up their mail and packages.

Additional Storage: There is no additional storage options outside of the units that is provided by Employee Housing.

Laundry: There is a self-service laundry room on site for residents to use.

Additional Shared Amenities: Inside the house, there is a nice living room area with a TV and dining room area for the residents to enjoy. Outside the house, there are multiple trails for residents to explore.

The formula for our room types are based on the format outlined below. Using 2x1 Shared as an example, here's what the room types mean:
- First Number = Number of bedrooms in the unit
- Second Number = Number of bathrooms in the unit
- Shared/Single = Is this specific bedroom shared with a roommate or a private room
So a 2x1 Shared would be a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit where the bedroom is shared.
Check-In Info
All residents will check-in via appointment on their designated check-in date. If approved for housing, you can expect check-in communications via email and/or phone closer to your expected arrival date.
Transportation Options:
Our Bus offers bus transportation between Philadelphia Airport and Harrisburg PA.
Amtrak offers train transportation between Philadelphia and Harrisburg PA.
There is no bus or train service that connects Harrisburg to Lewisberry. Residents would need to use a taxi service to get to Lewisberry from Harrisburg.
These shuttle services are not operated by or affiliated with Vail Resorts. Prices may vary depending on dates and a reservation may be required.
