Eligibility and Bookings
To be eligible for Employee Housing, you must be an active Vail Resorts employee and submit an Employee Housing application. If approved, you will need to receive and accept a Housing offer. The offer will indicate your check-in date for Housing. Employee Housing is not guaranteed and we do not do walk up reservations/bookings.

Orvette is a unique blend of both House and Apartment style housing located in Greene County in downtown Tannersville New York. The following are some key highlights for the property:

Parking: Parking is available but limited and is on a first come first serve basis during check-in.

Mail & Packages: UPS and FedEx deliver to this property. USPS requires a post office box and often those are difficult to get based on seasonal workforce volume.

Additional Storage: There is no additional storage options outside of the units that is provided by Employee Housing.

Laundry: There is self-service laundry available on site for residents to use.

Additional Shared Amenities: There are multiple common areas/living rooms inside the building that all residents have access to using.

The formula for our room types are based on the format outlined below. Using 2x1 Shared as an example, here's what the room types mean:
- First Number = Number of bedrooms in the unit
- Second Number = Number of bathrooms in the unit
- Shared/Single = Is this specific bedroom shared with a roommate or a private room
So a 2x1 Shared would be a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit where the bedroom is shared.
Check-In Info
All residents will check-in via appointment on their designated check-in date. If approved for housing, you can expect check-in communications via email and/or phone closer to your expected arrival date.
Transportation Options:
Trailways offers bus transportation between the New York City Airport and the town of Kingston, NY. From Kingston, transfer to another Trailways bus to Tannersville. This shuttle service is not operated by or affiliated with Vail Resorts. Prices may vary depending on dates and a reservation for both routes may be required.
