Eligibility and Bookings
To be eligible for Employee Housing, you must be an active Vail Resorts employee and submit an Employee Housing application. If approved, you will need to receive and accept a Housing offer. The offer will indicate your check-in date for Housing. Employee Housing is not guaranteed and we do not do walk up reservations/bookings.

The Cabins are House style housing located in Skykomish Washington. The following are some key highlights for the property:

Parking: Parking is available for all residents. There is no cost/fee associated with parking.

Mail & Packages: Residents are encouraged to acquire a PO Box after moving in as there is no USPS delivery to this property. Packages can be delivered to Stevens Pass resort.

Additional Storage: There is no additional storage options outside of the units that is provided by Employee Housing.

Laundry: There is a self-service laundry room in each cabin that is free to use for residents.

The formula for our room types are based on the format outlined below. Using 2x1 Shared as an example, here's what the room types mean:
- First Number = Number of bedrooms in the unit
- Second Number = Number of bathrooms in the unit
- Shared/Single = Is this specific bedroom shared with a roommate or a private room
So a 2x1 Shared would be a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit where the bedroom is shared.
Check-In Info
All residents will check-in at the Housing Office on their designated check-in date. See the resort's Housing Landing Page for the office's address and hours.
Transportation Options:
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is the closest large airport to Skykomish at approximately 74 miles apart. Stevens Pass Resort is another 16 miles from Skykomish.
There are no shuttle services from Skykomish to Stevens Pass.
If flying into Seattle Airport, check the Sound Transit routes and schedules to link up to either an Amtrak to Skykomish bus, or a Greyhound bus to Skykomish - both offer transportation options from Seattle to Skykomish. Greyhound offers shuttles straight to Stevens Pass Resort from Seattle.
These shuttle services are not operated by or affiliated with Vail Resorts. Prices may vary depending on dates and a reservation may be required.
There is an employee shuttle that offers transportation to and from Stevens Pass Resort to Skykomish.
