Eligibility and Bookings
To be eligible for Employee Housing, you must be an active Vail Resorts employee and submit an Employee Housing application. If approved, you will need to receive and accept a Housing offer. The offer will indicate your check-in date for Housing. Employee Housing is not guaranteed and we do not do walk up reservations/bookings.

Ta-Tel Lodge is Hotel style housing located in Kings Beach. The following are some key highlights for the property:

Parking: Parking is available but limited and is on a first come first serve basis that is assigned with your room assignment. If you are approved for a parking space, you will be assigned it with your room assignment.

Mail & Packages: Residents are encouraged to acquire a PO Box after moving in as there is no mail or package delivery to this property.

Additional Storage: There is no additional storage options outside of the units that is provided by Employee Housing.

Laundry: There is no laundry facility or machines on-site, but there is a laundry mat next door.

The formula for our room types are based on the format outlined below. Using 2x1 Shared as an example, here's what the room types mean:
- First Number = Number of bedrooms in the unit
- Second Number = Number of bathrooms in the unit
- Shared/Single = Is this specific bedroom shared with a roommate or a private room
So a 2x1 Shared would be a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit where the bedroom is shared.
Check-In Info
All residents will check-in via appointment on their designated check-in date. If approved for housing, you can expect check-in communications via email and/or phone closer to your expected arrival date.
Transportation Options:
North Lake Tahoe Express offers transportation between the Reno Airport and many North Lake Tahoe locations.
TART offers transportation throughout the North Lake and Truckee area.
