Eligibility and Bookings
To be eligible for Employee Housing, you must be an active Vail Resorts employee and submit an Employee Housing application. If approved, you will need to receive and accept a Housing offer. The offer will indicate your check-in date for Housing. Employee Housing is not guaranteed and we do not do walk up reservations/bookings.

Overview
Elevation is Hotel style housing located in Mt. Crested Butte. The following are some key highlights for the property:

Parking: There is no parking available at this property.

Mail & Packages: Residents are encouraged to acquire a PO Box after moving in as there is no mail or package delivery to this property.

Additional Storage: There is no additional storage options outside of the units that is provided by Employee Housing.

Laundry: There is a self-service laundry room on site and the machines are coin operated.

Additional Shared Amenities: Access to areas meant for guests (pool, spa, gym) are not included in the housing license fee and are not available for Employee Housing residents. Please keep in mind that your community shares spaces with guests visiting the resort.

The formula for our room types are based on the format outlined below. Using 2x1 Shared as an example, here's what the room types mean:
- First Number = Number of bedrooms in the unit
- Second Number = Number of bathrooms in the unit
- Shared/Single = Is this specific bedroom shared with a roommate or a private room
So a 2x1 Shared would be a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit where the bedroom is shared.
Check-In Info
All residents will schedule a check-in appointment with Employee Housing staff for the day of their check-in. The bedroom key can be acquired from the Elevation front desk.
Transportation Options:
The RTA Free Bus runs a loop through the City of Gunnison before heading north on Hwy 135 to Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. The bus leaves the following stops no earlier than the times listed. There may be delays due to weather.
The RTA Free Bus does not stop at the Gunnison – Crested Butte Regional Airport and the buses are not equipped to handle any baggage other than carry on items. Baggage other than ski / snowboard equipment and carry on items are not allowed on RTA buses.
