Background Check Information

As part of the Vail Resorts onboarding process, all employees are required to successfully complete a background check. No separate action is required for housing, as the background check is completed as part of your employment onboarding. Housing residents must have their background check completed and passed before they are eligible for check in.

Key things to know:

  • A passed background check is required before you are eligible to move into employee housing

  • Processing times may vary, so it’s important to complete all required steps of the pre-boarding and onboarding process.

  • Any delays in completing or passing the background check may impact your ability to move in as scheduled

You will be able to move into housing up to 7 days before your start date, only after both your booking has been accepted, and your background check has been successfully completed.
