Eligibility and Bookings
To be eligible for Employee Housing, you must be an active Vail Resorts employee and submit an Employee Housing application. If approved, you will need to receive and accept a Housing offer. The offer will indicate your check-in date for Housing. Employee Housing is not guaranteed and we do not do walk up reservations/bookings.

Overview
The Grand Lodge and Lodge at Mountaineer Square are Hotel style housing and the Crested Mountain North is Apartment style housing located at Mount Crested Butte. The following are some key highlights for the property:

Parking: Parking is available but limited and is on a first come first serve basis during check-in. Parking permits cost $25 per month.

Mail & Packages: Residents are encouraged to acquire a PO Box after moving in as there is no mail or package delivery to this property.

Additional Storage: There is no additional storage available at these properties.

Laundry: There are self-service laundry rooms on site and the machines are coin operated.

The formula for our room types are based on the format outlined below. Using 2x1 Shared as an example, here's what the room types mean:
- First Number = Number of bedrooms in the unit
- Second Number = Number of bathrooms in the unit
- Shared/Single = Is this specific bedroom shared with a roommate or a private room
So a 2x1 Shared would be a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit where the bedroom is shared.
Check-In Info
All residents will check-in via appointment on their designated check-in date.
Transportation Options:
From Closest Major Airport: The Bustang provides transportation from Denver to the Gunnison Valley.
Local Public Transportation: The Mountain Express offers free bus transportation around the Gunnison Valley including to and from Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
